Bush vs Kerry - College Grades

Will this ever stop?

Kerry lost. Who cares about academic achievement at this time of their lives. From CNN.com:

Kerry had a cumulative average of 76 and got four Ds his freshman year -- in
geology, two history courses and political science. . .

Four Ds. Hmmm, lets see. Geology is a natural science, so it could be considered a difficult course. History? Twice? I'm thinking he probably started his revisionary history at Yale. Political Science????

In 1999, The New Yorker magazine published a transcript showing Bush had a
cumulative grade average of 77 his first three years at Yale. . . Bush's highest grade at Yale was an 88 in anthropology, history and philosophy. He received one D in his four years, a 69 in astronomy, and improved his grades after his freshman year. . .

Kerry graduated from Yale in 1966, Bush in 1968.

You know, I'm not going to denigrate either of these men. You have to have done pretty good to get into Yale, (having $ is also a big help), but, these averages seem pretty low by today's standards.

Let's end the discussion of grades while at Yale. It's pretty obvious that the grades earned have not hurt either career.

The real issues whether Kerry made full disclosure on his SF 180. Now that's a discussion to continue.
